4.5/5 ⭐️/ 3.75/5 🌶️ This is the second book in the duology. The couple has a forced marriage with a dom/sub relationship and I LOVE how the author portrayed their relationship. They find love after marriage, but there’s also a healthy balance of play time 😏 where they’re in a scene and regular marriage dynamics. There’s dual POV and you’ll notice that when the POV change, it recaps a little of the chapter before in this new POV before continuing on in the story. That’s a different style to POV that I haven’t read before, but I enjoyed it once I got used to it. There’s a few secret identities that come out in this book. There’s also a lot of growth from the FMC with support from the MMC. I was worried towards the end that there wasn’t going to be a HEA! 3.5/5 I've been waiting for the release of the 2nd book to answer some questions I had from book 1. I did get those answers and overall I enjoyed the story the reason I couldn't rate it higher is the fact that Alessandra & Drake just couldn't get it together. Every chapter she would tell him she can't trust him

Book 1 had me super hooked but I felt like I couldn't get into book 2 as much. I definitely saw the mafia princess I wanted Alessandra to be! I wasn't crazy about Drake though, I felt like he always used \protecting Alessandra\" as his excuse to lie to her and only finally told her everything because he had no choice. I am glad Alessandra got her HEA

Drake and Alessandra are doing their best to make a forced marriage work despite many obstacles. The spice is divine and I love their chemistry. Alessandra is tired of being used again and again, so she takes matters into her own hands and I am so proud of her. She is quite the powerhouse FMC. ❤️ I really appreciate the found family aspect of this book. The suspense kept me on my toes. The story got a bit chaotic and hard to follow at times, but I still found it to be a solid end to an awesome duet (The Legally Bound Duet.)

Ooooh it has Italian mixed into the story and I’m all up for it when it’s coming from Drake! It starts off by Drake finding his wife Alessandra and Noah on the ground. Drake is determined to have whoever did this to them pay. His wife suffered a lot of pain. There a secrets that are being hidden from Alessadra that she is determined to figure out. The love Drake shows for Alessadra shows it’s unconditional, at least he tries by trying to protect her. Alessadra grows a lot mentally and learns yo defend herself. I loved how they both learned to strengthen their relationship even with all the obstacles that were thrown at them. A lot of intimacy happens between Drake and Alessadra. I was expecting a bit more. I felt like it missed a few chunks here and there, but overall it was good. Overall, it was great and I can’t wait to read more from Cristina.

Drake and Alessandra have been through a lot in their short marriage, but nothing will compare to what they are going to face during this book. Alessandra thought her father was bad, he's got nothing on Drake's real father, who is the devil himself. A few more twists and turns for this couple to face, but will they get their HEA? You'll have to read it and find out.
