Devereaux Huxley has a problem his billions can’t fix…me.

As owner of Club Greed, an adult club that caters to the fantasies of the rich and powerful, Devereaux’s the prime suspect when the girls employed at his club start turning up dead.

The Greedy Girls.

Elegant, poised, and desired by all.

And now I’m going undercover to become one.

He calls me Swan.

He doesn’t know my real name, but that’s how I like it. If he knew the real Chloe, I’d be in more danger than I am now.

I might be in over my head, but I won’t let the dazzling whiskey-colored eyes and seductive charm of the mysterious owner make me fail on my first case as a detective.

I’m determined to be the best darn Greedy Girl the small town of Saint Pierce has ever seen. And not get myself murdered in the process. I’ll just need to keep my wits about me and keep the devilishly handsome and possible murderer Devereaux Huxley at bay. Which is easier said than done.

He tempts me.

He desires me.

He pushes me to try new things.

Naughty things.

Things an undercover detective shouldn’t even be imagining.

But I am imagining them…with him.

When the lines between reality and fantasy blur, it’ll make me question everything I’ve ever known.

I’ll need to keep myself out of danger long enough to uncover what’s really going on, but when secrets threaten to crush us, and I end up in his bed, the real danger begins.

Excerpt from Say My Name

This girl cannot work here. If innocence had a face, it would be the one before me. She is purity incarnate. Her blonde hair shimmers like spun silk beneath the fluorescent lighting, falling past her slim shoulders to caress bountiful breasts hidden beneath a tight white shirt.

I’ll give her credit though. The demure outfit she chose stresses her assets just as much as if she’d come in half-naked like most girls who want to be a Greedy Girl do.

Her emerald eyes stay focused on mine with commendable bravado, but I can nearly smell the fear coming off her petite frame.

Good girl. She should fear me.

I perch on my desk in front of her. “Do you know what Club Greed is?”

“Well, I’d have to live under a rock not to know.” The lilt of her voice punches me in the gut. “I mean, you named it Greed—an intense or selfish desire for something—so I know it’s not your average club.

“It’s definitely not average.” And neither is she, and she just cannot work here. “I don’t think you’re a good fit for my club.”

She blinks. “Why?”

“I don’t think you can handle what you will encounter here.”

“I can handle more than you think. Give me a chance.”

I should send her on her way, but I’m not ready for her to leave just yet.

I stare at her, loving what I’m seeing. “Send the twins back in,” I say into the intercom on my desk. “Do you think you can handle three men at once?”

Q&A With Logan Chance

I’ve always enjoyed reading, and started out writing thrillers. When the opportunity to write romance popped up, I jumped at the chance.

Horrible. I wish I had a better routine, but an idea strikes and I don’t rest until the book is written.

Watch movies. Read other books. And hang out in my reader’s group on Facebook.

Hmm, usually taking a few days off to just veg and watch TV.

I don’t really celebrate because there’s always SO much marketing and work to be done the moment a book releases. Usually after the first two weeks after a book has released I need a decompression time where I generally take a few days off.

Hmm, The Gods of Saint Pierce came about when Book Four’s vision hit me in a dream. I couldn’t stop obsessing over the idea, and the characters came to life. I decided to push that book back to book four and reimagine things a bit.

I know people love the answer yes, but honestly this series there’s not. HOWEVER, every character I write has a small piece of me in there, whether it’s a small experience, a quirk, or some small aspect of them is a part of me. Does that make sense?

Getting the mystery of it to all add up. Hands down the hardest part.

The sex scenes of course. I don’t know if it’s the most fun, or the easiest….but I enjoy easy so there you go.

Hmm, I don’t really draw inspiration from other authors or books. Usually they come from movies, a memory, or something else.

(Blank Stare) These questions are really hard. How about I tell you my favorite part. I love the part where Chloe is sitting with Devereaux on a park bench and he tells her the story of the swan maiden. I love the legend of the swan, and love that these characters can find meaning out of it and incorporate it into their core beliefs.

Chloe….I’d say, “Sup?” hahaha, just kidding. I’d love to meet the character Benedict and I’d ask him…”Umm, how does your story end?”

Only because Benedict is the character in Book 4 and I’m having a hard time hammering down his plot.
